Artifact#9

Here is the cover to one of my darker novels, Hard Times. I believe that this novel was important to the time because I wrote it soon after my wife left me and in the same year my that my father and son died.

Here is Mary, my wife's beautiful sister,who died, in my arms at the age of seventeen. Whom I loved very much. It was made  quite clear that I had married the worong sister and should have married Mary.
